The beach has been awarded a European Blue Flag, guaranteeing the cleanliness of the water. The beach is patrolled by lifeguards during the school holidays. It is easy to find, lying midway between Haverfordwest and St. Davids on the main A487 road. (see map) There is a cafe at both ends of the beach and the Duke of Edinburgh Inn is next to Newsurf on the sea front. We have ample free parking and also a small picnic area.

Sands Cafe
Just around the corner from Newsurf is Sands Cafe where you can enjoy a relaxing, freshly ground coffee and perhaps a bite from the extensive bistro style menu. Breakfast is served all day from early morning and filled baguettes are available to take away. Sands Cafe operates a no smoking policy, but there is a patio garden area.
